The problem: most performance camshafts for GM LS engines do not work well on engines equipped with Active Fuel Management (AFM). The solution? Trick Flow Active Fuel Management Delete Kits! These standard delete kits include everything to completely remove the AFM cylinder deactivation hardware including GM LS7 hydraulic roller lifters, a valve lifter guide set, new head bolts, PVC hose, PVC plug, head gaskets, and an engine valley cover. A programmer capable of disabling the AFM software (sold separately) is required for proper engine operation.
Designed for models originally equipped with displacement on demand. Using a factory DOD camshaft with this kit is not recommended and may result in a misfiring engine. A programmer capable of disabling the displacement on demand is needed to complete DOD removal. Kit includes PCV hose, PVC plug, and head gaskets.
