The Mazda RX-8 has a very unique fuel system, consisting of 6 total fuel injectors at varying capacities.
Each of the two rotors function with 3 dedicated fuel injectors, two primary (designated P1 and P2) and one secondary injector (designated S). Both secondary factory injectors (S) flow 380cc/min. The P1 factory injectors flow 290cc, and the P2 injectors flow 380cc. Most RX8 owners interested in getting more fuel into their rotary engine replace both secondary injectors with high performance injectors and run the stock 380cc secondary and stock 380cc P2 injectors in the P1 and P2 ports.
TREperformance fuel injectors are only compatible with the two secondary injector ports on the RX-8.
