This Stage 4 clutch will fit all Toyota MR2 Turbo 1990-1995 2.0L and will hold 480 lbft. of torque at the flywheel.
Stage Four
We recommend these clutches for serious drag/road racing purposes since they engage instantaneously and are not comfortable for every day driving. The kit comes with a high clamp pressure plate, 3, 4 or 6 puck carbon semi-metallic rigid 2-piece clutch disc with high torque rigid hub and carrier assembly with install tool. This application does not utilize a conventional throwout bearing, as the releaser is a concentric hydraulic slave/bearing assembly. SPEC Stage 4 clutch kits are solid hub versions of their Stage 3 clutches. Each hub is solid with eight rivets and the assembly is heat-treated for strength and durability. They are available in a 3, 4, and 6-puck configurations. Use a 3-puck for the lightest option or a 6-puck for the smoothest engagement. The 4-puck kit is a good compromise for both. Street-drivable in 6-puck configuration, but not street friendly due to the rigid hub.
