The rubber OEM rear cradle bushings are soft and flimsy, this allows the rear cradle to move around under hard acceleration, cornering and braking. The Gforce solid aluminum cradle bushings are a direct bolt in replacement for the OEM rubber bushings. Solid bushings will stiffen the suspension and reduce the rear cradle movement providing better 60 ft times as well as a firmer feel from the suspension. GForce tested these solid bushings in their GTO shop car and were able to improve on 60ft times. They were able to pull a best of 1.39 60ft time all motor! The solid aluminum bushings are cnc machined from aircraft grade aluminum and come as a set for left and right.
*All bushings should be matched for the cradle; If you decide to use billet cradle bushings, you will want to run billet rear bushings as well. We can arrange for the HD diff mount to be run with billet bushings for an upcharge.
