Ford MG1 PCM Service Requirements:
ECM E46 License for tuning: 6 Universal Credits (See the blue product option button to add required universal credit tokens!)
Requires MPVI4 interface and the latest version of VCM Suite BETA
No relearns/reprogramming required:
No IMMO relearn
No Crank relearn
No “Replace ECM” function*
*As long as the PCM's vin is the same as the vehicle its being put into.
Important Notes:
HP Tuners supports 2020-2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500/GMC Sierra 1500 3.0L Duramax (LM2) trucks that are non-Global B. This includes “facelift” trucks as they are Global-B and contain a different controller.
ECMs with broken tabs or connectors WILL NOT be accepted for Upgrades.
This service only upgrades your original ECM for tuning, it does not reprogram your ECM for a different VIN. If you intend to send HP Tuners a spare E46 ECM, it will be returned to you with the same programming as it was received and may not operate in your GM vehicle without additional programming by a GM dealer.
Your E46 ECM core must be fully functional with no physical or internal damage.
No other tuning or calibration tools can be used with the E46 ECM (not including dealer reflash tools).
VCM Scanner, Dealer Diagnostic, and other diagnostic tools will continue to function normally.
The latest version of VCM Suite can be used to return to the stock calibration and/or update to the latest stock calibration.
The E46 ECM upgrade service takes about 1 to 3 business days to complete (not including shipping times).
HP Tuners’ E46 ECM support does not cover the Chevrolet Suburban LM2 at this time.
How The HP Tuners PCM Service Works:
Step 1: Once you’ve confirmed your vehicle’s support (2020-2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500/GMC Sierra 1500 3.0L Duramax (LM2) with E46 ECM), purchase this service.
Step 2: After placing your order, Fill out This form and place it in your shipping box. You will also receive an email immediately after placing your order with this shipping form and address.
Step 3: Remove the ECM from your vehicle and safely package it. Place your completed shipping form in the box.
Step 4: Write your order number on the outside of the shipping box (Must be visible & legible).
Step 5: Ship your ECM to HP Tuners using any carrier you prefer. The shipping address can be found on this page and in the email discussed in step 2. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Step 6: HP Tuners will upgrade your ECM for tuning and diagnostics. Then, we’ll ship it back to you.
Step 7: Once you receive your upgraded ECM, install it back into your vehicle. License the E46 ECM for (6) Universal Credits (sold separately) and start tuning with your MPVI2 or newer generation device and the latest version of VCM Suite BETA
