Upgrade ECM Service:
this one-time, send-in upgrade option will upgrade your original or spare PCM to enable tuning in VCM Suite. Simply send us your PCM and we’ll send it back to you fully upgraded for tuning in the latest VCM Suite (BETA).
Make sure to include the make and model of your vehicle, the stock file by email, and your VIN when checking out (always double-check your VIN for accuracy to avoid delays).\
Important Note: This is a send-in service that requires you to send HP Tuners your original/spare PCM for servicing.
New Upgraded ECM Purchase:
This option allows you to purchase a brand-new, already-upgraded PCM directly from HP Tuners. Your new PCM will already be upgraded for tuning and programmed to the VIN you add during checkout (please double-check your VIN for accuracy to avoid delays). email us your stock calibration files when we receive your stock calibration file we will process your order.
Important Note: It is imperative that you send us your vehicle’s stock file with this option.
Important Notes:
ECMs with broken tabs will NOT be accepted for Upgrades.
Your Purchased or Upgraded E41 ECM can only be tuned via the OBDII port with an MPVI 4 updated to the latest version of VCM Suite BETA, and an internet connection.
No other tuning or calibration tools can be used with the ECM (including dealer reflash tools).
The latest version of VCM Suite can be used to return to stock calibration and/or update to the latest stock calibration.
If you select the PURCHASE option, you must follow the installation steps once receiving your new ECM.
VCM Scanner, Dealer Diagnostic, and other diagnostic tools will continue to function normally.
VCM Suite (version 4.13+) can be used to return to the stock calibration and/or update to the latest stock calibration.
If purchasing a new ECM, the Vehicle Anti-Theft System relearn (by a dealer tool) is required once the new ECM is installed.
The GM E41 ECM Upgrade Service take 1-3 business days to complete (not including shipping times) per ECM.

Due to the factory location of the ECM in the vehicle, all ECMs will exhibit signs of weathering and wear, which is completely normal.
