GripTec ZPE utilizes two patented technologies to enhance surface grip: GripTec Micro and GripTec Weld. GripTec Micro uses a CNC ablation process to remove material from the pulley surface. The multi-directional machined ridges and valleys not only provide maximum gripping force but also serve as escape channels for trapped air and debris, improving the connection between the belt and the pulley. GripTec Weld infuses a blend of metals and engineered aggregates to achieve an optimal friction coefficient on the pulley surface.
