Ford Mustang Cobra 302 Canton 9 Quart Front Sump Oil Pan

This front sump road race pan is for Ford 289-302. It has a 9 qt. system capacity, 8" deep, 12" wide, 14 ga. sump designed for Cobra kit cars. This pan includes our four trap door baffle and directional runner system with a bolt in slosh baffle to control oil slosh. Pan also includes a crank scraper, a provision for our optional pan mounted dipstick, an oil temperature fitting, and a magnetic drain plug.



Note: This pan requires our 15-611 pickup.

FEATURES: Track proven diamond shape road race baffle with four trap doors and runners to direct oil to the pickup under all conditions, bolt in windage tray, temp. fitting, magnetic drain plug, crank scraper and dipstick bung.

MAIN SUPPORT:
PART #: 21-060 Ford 289-302 Main Cap Stud Support (Main Girdle) is designed to directly tie into the main caps. The Canton design doesn’t need bushings or spacers and doesn’t require the main caps to be machined to mount it. The end result is a main girdle that offers more support, is easy to install, and will clear large strokers. This support is 1/2" thick and is laser cut out of steel with CNC machined mounting holes and includes all hardware.

MAIN SUPPORT WINDAGE TRAY:
PART #: 20-960 Ford 289-302 Main Cap Stud Support Windage Tray bolts to the pre-drilled and tapped holes on Canton main cap stud supports. These trays keep the windage around the rotating assembly away from the oil in the sump and the oil in the sump away from the rotating assembly. Come with mounting bolts.
