This high quality 1986-1993 Mustang 5.0 BBK Replacement Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is an OEM quality direct replacement for your stock or aftermarket throttle body.
The TPS sensor has important role in how the engine runs. Over time your TPS can wear out, causing "dead spots" or static in the signal it sends to the ECM. This can cause many problems, including erratic idle and poor throttle response.
