This Stage 5 clutch will fit the 2015-2020 Ford Mustang 2.3T Ecoboost and will hold 828 lbft. of torque at the flywheel. SPEC Mustang Ecoboost clutch kits are all billet and infinitely rebuildable. The pressure plates feature a billet alloy shell and the pressure rings are high carbon billet steel. The stock flywheel can also be paired with this clutch kit.
Stage Five
SPEC's strongest clutch is made specifically for drag racing high powered vehicles or applications that call for a "slipper" clutch/progressive torque-induced engagement. They feature an unsprung, rigid, iron disc that engages instantly and strongly. The kit comes with a high clamp pressure plate, iron disc assembly with install tool. This application does not utilize a conventional throwout bearing, as the releaser is a concentric hydraulic slave/bearing assembly.
Although these clutch kits are designed to be used with SPEC flywheels SFME1S or SFME1A, the stock flywheel can also be paired with this clutch kit. It is recommended to resurface the stock flywheel when installing.
SPEC Stage 5 Clutch Kit:
Features a full-metallic disc with the highest possible friction co-efficient. Street drivable but not street-friendly. The hub is solid 12-rivet and the assembly is heat treated for strength and durability. Best for extreme street and drag racing.
