The Pro-Flo 4 Standalone ECU and Harness Kit (PN 35721) provides an economical EFI system solution ideal for legacy Pro-Flo EFI system users or those with an existing yet poor-performing competitor EFI system looking to convert to PF4 EFI. This kit can be used with any application for which Edelbrock offers a Pro-Flo 4 Distributor.
The Standalone EFI kit comprises the ECU, supporting sensors, a wide-band O2 sensor, and the wiring harness. The ECU controls both fuel and spark and includes a learning capability feature that adjusts the fuel injection calibration to maintain the specified target air-fuel ratio. Minimal setup and tuning adjustments are required with Edelbrock’s E-Tuner Software for IOS and Android tablets and cell phones. The software includes base calibrations for most applications and necessary adjustments for AFR target, ignition curve, idle speed, acceleration tuning, coolant fans, rev limiter, etc.
The customer must purchase a Pro-Flo distributor (specific to the application) and provide the induction system, EFI manifold, throttle body, 1-bar MAP sensor, fuel rails, injectors, pump, regulator, and lines. Users must refer to the Calibration Matrix in the instructions for the required injector size, depending on engine cubic inches and HP requirements. Required injector sizes 29 lb./hr., 35 lb./hr., 42 lb./hr., and 60 lb./hr. Compatibility with forced induction applications requires 80 lb./hr. injectors and a 2-bar MAP sensor.
