This Stage 2 clutch will fit all 2005-2013 6.0, 6.2 and 7.0L Chevy Corvettes including the LS2, LS3, and LS7 and will hold 645 lbft. of torque at the flywheel.
Stage Two
These clutches are great for all mild to moderately modified naturally aspirated and power adder engines, but also good for stock power levels and spirited driving when good daily drivability and extremely long life are the goal. With the Kevlar disc, these clutches are much stronger than a stock clutch, and virtually as smooth when shifting with stock-like daily drivability and EXCELLENT wear characteristics. The kit comes with a high clamp pressure plate, segmented chatter-free pure Kevlar clutch disc with a high torque sprung hub and disc assembly with install tool. This applicaiton does not utilize a conventional throwout bearing, as the releaser is a concentric hydraulic slave/bearing assembly. This concentric slave is available as an option to the kit.
These clutch kits are designed for use with SPEC flywheels or any aftermarket LS1/6 single mass flywheel. These kits increase friction surface diameter to 12 inches while reducing rotating mass by up to 36%. The flywheel package includes race bolt kit.
SPEC Stage 2 Clutch Kit:
Features segmented or full faced pure Kevlar disc with steel backing. This lining features excellent drivability like the stage 1, but offers slightly longer life and higher torque capacity. The hub is double sprung with spring cover relieves for flexibility and heat treated components for strength and durability.
