Description

This BTR camshaft and valve train kit includes the well-known LT L8T Truck 220 Camshaft and BTR 0.650 Lift Conical Spring Kit. Whether your project involves turbocharged, supercharged, or naturally aspirated setups, BTR offers numerous options, all supported by years of expertise, knowledge, and a dedication to power. This does not come without a small sacrifice to the 5.3L crowd, as you must fly-cut your pistons to allow for this grind to properly fit. However, a DOD delete is also necessary, which means those cylinder heads have to be removed regardless. One extra small step to provide enormous gains across the powerband.

In truck applications, the BTR Gen V 220 cam delivers strong low- and mid-range torque with impressive power to redline. Ideal for work, light towing, or weekend cruising, it offers well-rounded performance with a noticeable, attention-grabbing idle.

Note: Valve spring kits upgrades and Pushrod options available, see the product options to configure your system and avoid any delays!

*To maximize the performance of this camshaft, we recommend using VVT limiters or lockouts to disable the VVT function on your Gen V LT engine. This increases piston-to-valve clearance, allowing for longer camshaft durations than stock like this camshaft.

*Custom tuning is required after installation. We offer remote tuning options see here or we recommend going to a local dyno shop near you for custom tuning.
