This Stage 5 clutch will fit the 2011-2013 BMW 335is 3.0L and will hold 820 lbft. of torque at the flywheel. These kits feature a non-SAC mechanism pressure plate, which deviating from the original design, provides a lighter rotating assembly, higher rpm capability and greater clamp load levels. Required for the install is a billet rebuildable flywheel that features a lightweight, low MOI design and infinite rebuildability. The billet aluminum flywheel weighs 14lbs, and billet steel 22 lbs.
Stage Five
SPEC's strongest clutch is made specifically for drag racing high powered vehicles or applications that call for a "slipper" clutch/progressive torque-induced engagement. They feature an unsprung, rigid, iron disc that engages instantly and strongly. The kit comes with a high clamp pressure plate, iron disc assembly with install tool. This application does not utilize a conventional throwout bearing, as the releaser is a concentric hydraulic slave/bearing assembly.
These clutch kits are designed for use with SPEC flywheels SB53A-3 or SB53S-3. Spec flywheel is required for this kit.
SPEC Stage 5 Clutch Kit:
Features a full-metallic disc with the highest possible friction co-efficient. Street drivable but not street-friendly. The hub is solid 12-rivet and the assembly is heat treated for strength and durability.
