This Stage 2 clutch will fit the 2011-2013 BMW 335is 3.0L and will hold 485 lbft. of torque at the flywheel. These kits feature a non-SAC mechanism pressure plate, which , deviating from the original design, provides a lighter rotating assembly, higher rpm capability and greater clamp load levels. Required for the install is a billet rebuildable flywheel that features a lightweight, low MOI design and infinite rebuildability. The billet aluminum flywheel weighs 14lbs, and billet steel 22 lbs.
Stage Two
These clutches are great for all mild to moderately modified naturally aspirated and power adder engines, but also good for stock power levels and spirited driving when good daily drivability and extremely long life are the goal. With the Kevlar disc, these clutches are much stronger than a stock clutch, and virtually as smooth when shifting with stock-like daily drivability and EXCELLENT wear characteristics. The kit comes with a high clamp pressure plate, segmented chatter-free pure Kevlar clutch disc with a high torque sprung hub and disc assembly with install tool. This application does not utilize a conventional throwout bearing, as the releaser is a concentric hydraulic slave/bearing assembly.
These clutch kits are designed for use with SPEC flywheels SB53A-3 or SB53S-3. Spec flywheel is required for this kit.
SPEC Stage 2 Clutch Kit:
Features segmented or full faced pure Kevlar disc with steel backing. This lining features excellent drivability like the stage 1, but offers slightly longer life and higher torque capacity. The hub is double sprung with spring cover relieves for flexibility and heat treated components for strength and durability.
