This Stage 1 clutch will fit the 2006-2013 Audi A3 2.0T and will hold 350 lb/ft of torque at the flywheel. This kit replaces the OE Luk S-A-C clutch design in favor of our Grand Am Cup design and requires our flywheel to convert from the original dual mass design to a single mass performance alternative. The package includes all hardware needed for install.
Stage One
These clutches are great as a replacement for the stock clutch, and engage as smooth with stock-like daily drivability, but are much higher quality with very good wear characteristics. They are also good for high performance street driving, or light drag strip action for bolt on naturally aspirated and mildly modified forced induction engines. The kit comes with a high clamp pressure plate, steel-backed and multi-compound woven organic clutch disc with a high torque sprung hub and disc assembly with install tool. This application does not utilize a conventional throwout bearing, as the releaser is a concentric hydraulic slave/bearing assembly. This concentric slave is available at your local dealership.
These clutch kits are designed for use with SPEC flywheels SV87S or SV87A.
SPEC Stage 1 Clutch Kit:
Features an integrally molded carbon kevlar-based, high performance organic lining that offers smooth engagement and excellent life. This lining has an integrally bonded steel backing for strength under high clamp loads and temperatures. The hub is double sprung with spring cover relieves for flexibility and heat treated components for strength and durability. Best for street and many track/off-road applications.
