This is an ATI / Procharger D-1X Supercharger Head Unit only, satin finish, upgrades available, including helical gears, polishing, black powdercoat, pullies, and belts. These can be used on vehicles with a base horsepower of 300-550 and is capable of producing 1,100 horsepower!



The ProCharger D-1X head units feature the robust, self-contained gearcase that is standard on most ProCharger models, but with a new aerodynamic compressor design that creates cooler charge air temperatures and more horsepower at the same boost level than our industry-standard P-1SC-1 and D-1SC. This higher efficiency design was engineered to be a bolt-in replacement for P-1SC-1 and D-1SC equipped systems and has even greater max-power potential.

Legendary ProCharger D-Series Superchargers
ATI’s self-contained (SC) ProCharger models are the first and only gear-driven centrifugal superchargers to feature self-lubrication, and contain the industry’s most advanced technology. In addition to the patented oiling design, SC ProChargers also feature the highest step-up ratio, exclusive billet impellers, and the industry's only billet gearcases for superior rigidity, sealing and appearance. These proven self-contained ProChargers were designed specifically for internal lubrication and have become the industry standard.

These new X designs are built on the same proven technology that propels the P-1SC-1 and D-1SC models to near 4-digit power numbers and slightly beyond, and feature the same step-up ratio. The compressor side of the supercharger (the volute and impeller) was redesigned with greater efficiency and less parasitic engine load in mind. This means less heat and less power needed to turn spin the impeller–and that adds up to more horsepower.

ProCharger D-1X Supercharger:
By combining advanced supercharger transmission design with the highest quality oil, self contained (SC) ProChargers produce a larger net power gain because they run cooler and consume less power than comparable oil-fed designs. SC ProChargers also feature an internal step-up ratio of 4.10:1 for improved belt tracking and traction, and maximum low-rpm boost and power. D-1X superchargers fit into the same brackets as P-1SC-1 and D-1SC systems and will be an optional upgrade for those who want increased performance on otherwise stock, modern V8 engines–to the tune of 10-15 more flywheel horsepower at the same pulley size (with stock motors running standard boost levels)

ProCharger is also the first and only manufacturer to offer the choice of standard or helical gearset for noise reduction on the P and D Series supercharger models.
