This tank is a direct replacement tank for the plastic stock tank that is mounted next to the radiator. This tank serves as an overflow tank to collect coolant after the system is heated. After the system is cooled it allows it to be drawn back into the system. The Tig welded aluminum construction offers increased durability and visual appeal over the stock tank.
