AFR's 265cc Magnum "As Cast" Oval Port heads are the preferred choice over reworked factory heads. They feature partially CNC ported intake, exhaust & chambers, A356 aluminum castings and high quality components throughout. Recommended for street, towing, or street/strip engines with displacements up to 468 cubic inches, operating up to 6200 RPM. Also available with 100% CNC chambers for increased air flow (see chart). Component upgrades and machining options are available to customize AFR Heads to your specific build.
Small Port, High Velocity, Torque Monster!
Want to wake up the Big Block in your favorite tow vehicle? AFR's 265cc high velocity oval port is just the ticket! They are also ideal on smaller cubic inch street performance applications (up to 468 CID), providing “gobs” of bottom end torque, tremendous throttle response, and great all around power. With AFR’s trademark 3/4” deck, reinforced rockerstud bosses, and thick rugged castings, you can own the strongest and most efficient heads on the market today. Take note the higher flowing exhaust ports are raised .375 over stock location, and therefore these heads might not be a direct bolt-on in every application. These heads have no EGR and are not emissions legal.

IMPORTANT:
Do not match your intake manifold to any Fel-Pro gasket as it does not precisely match AFR heads.
Do not use your AFR gasket as a template to port match your intake manifold as one AFR gasket is used for many AFR runner volumes.
NOTE:
1" longer head bolts needed on four bottom exhaust bolt holes.
Milling head deck will affect flow numbers. Angle mills might require a .120 thick intake gasket.
