Aeromotive 1986-1998 Ford Mustang 5.0L Drop-In Fuel Tank w/ Built-In Billet Eliminator Fuel Pump

In 2003, Ford developed a specialized fuel tank for the 2003 and 2004 Mustang Cobras. While it looked like a standard tank from the outside, it featured one of the most advanced internal baffling systems we’ve seen from an OE tank to date. In late 2011, Ford discontinued these tanks, and at Aeromotive, we saw an opportunity to reproduce them. Not only do we offer reproduction 2003-2004 Cobra tanks, but we also modified the tooling during production to make this tank compatible with all Fox Body Mustangs. And that’s exactly what we did. We even went a step further by designing specific A1000 and Eliminator Fuel Pumps that bolt directly into the top of these tanks. We then created a complete system under one part number, providing everything needed to install a full Aeromotive Fuel System in your Fox Body.

These Fox Body Stealth tanks offer optimal performance while maintaining the appearance of a stock tank. With our proven A1000 or Eliminator fuel pumps built directly into the tank, you can choose either option for a fuel system that looks stock but features an innovative baffling system, an integrated fuel pump capable of supporting nearly any horsepower demand, and a pre-pump filter.

These tanks and systems are a direct bolt-in for 1986-1998.5 Ford Mustangs. Although the Fox Body was produced from 1979 through 2004, some modifications may be necessary for these systems to be direct bolt-ins for certain years. See the notes below for specific year information.

Year specifications:
For 1979-1985 Mustangs, you must use an 1986 or later leveling unit and aftermarket fuel level gauge. (73-10 Ohm)
For 1998.5-2004 Mustang Stealth Tanks are coming soon. If you have a factory 2003 or 2004 Cobra or Cobra Fuel Tank, it is a direct bolt-in to your car.
(Requires the use of 03-04 Cobra fuel level sending unit as well)
