Accufab has developed new performance parts for the 2005-2006 Ford GT. This is the second major part developed by Accufab, the high-flow polished X-pipe. Looking to add a little rumble to your exhaust while gaining additional power? The answer is to install an Accufab X-Pipe which eliminates the big, bulky muffler and adds a robust sound without giving you a headache! This X-Pipe is individually fabricated from 304 stainless, custom welded and polished. It weighs in at a mere 12.5 pounds and includes brackets, bolts and gaskets. It will reduce under hood temperatures by 20 degrees, removes 40 pounds from the weight and adds 10-12 hp!
Accufab has developed new performance parts for the 2005-2006 Ford GT. In additiona to this X-pipe, there is a dual blade 75mm throttle body or new single blade throttle body. The throttle body is made from the finest billet aluminum, polished to a mirror finish. It also features a stainless steel split shaft, brass blades and the highest quality bushings, bearings and screws. Dyno tests on a stock vehicle have shown an increase of 4 to 5hp. However, dyno tests on our Project GT, which has other performance modifications, showed an increase of 11hp!
In our research, we recognized a serious problem with the stock air inlet. It is soft and flexible and will actually collapse under stock conditions. Accufab has developed an Air Inlet Support Sleeve which simply slips into the stock inlet and offers much needed wall support. This part is highly recommended for all 2005-2006 Ford GT's.
