V-Band clamps and ferrules to meet your tubing connection needs. We currently offer this clamp & ferrule in three sizes, 4", 4.5" or 5.5". This listing is for the 4" model. The V-Band is stainless steel while the ferrule is CNC machined from billet aluminum. Furthermore, clamps and ferrules are sold separately or you may purchase them as a kit.
The 4" and 4.5" kit includes one clamp, two ferrules and an o-ring, whereas the 5.5" kit only includes the clamp and one 5" ferrule.
The V-Band clamp is designed to accommodate 4", 4.5" or 5" sized tubing found on most blower or turbo applications. Also, it's an extremely useful connector for race applications. First, the clamp can be quickly removed and easily re-installed. There are no hoses to “stretch” over the tubing or throttle body. The use of a v-band clamp can eliminate wasted time between rounds.
Application. Besides using a v-band as a useful connector for your sized tubing, they may also be used with an Accufab V-Band clamp compatible throttle body, sold separately. Please see the related products below.
- The 4" clamp and ferrule may be used on an Accufab 90mm V-Band clamp compatible throttle body, part number F90VB sold separately.
- The 4.5" clamp and ferrule may be used on an Accufab 105mm V-Band clamp compatible throttle body, part number F105VBsold separately.
- The 5.5" clamp and 5" ferrule may be used on an Accufab 125mm V-Band clamp compatible throttle body, part number U125VB sold separately.
- The ferrule needs to be welded to the the inlet tube going to the throttle body.
