Canton part #21-060 Ford 289-302 Main Cap Stud Support (Main Girdle) is designed to directly tie into the main caps. The Canton design doesn’t need bushings or spacers and doesn’t require the main caps to be machined to mount it. The end result is a main girdle that offers more support, is easy to install, and will clear large strokers. This support is 1/2" thick and is laser cut out of steel with CNC machined mounting holes.
